• Anatomy of the skin and mucous.
• Basic microbiology.
• Cisinfecting and aspetic concepts.
• Hematic transmission illnesses.
• Personal prevention and protection of the applicator.
• Preventing measures in the application of tattoos and piercings.
• Premises.
• Tools and one use material.
• Waste.
• Sterilisation and disinfecting techniques.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

Knowledge of the sanitary rules applicable to tattoo, micropigmentation and piercing services. To get an official degree of "tatto, micropigmentation and piercing applicator” of the Generalitat de Catalunya, compulsory to work since July 2001.
